See Kingdom Tower Tallest Building in the World

There is something to be said about buildings on the rise, especially in the matter of the Kingdom Tower, which will be the tallest building in the world in 2016. Saudi Arabia is getting a great architectural gem, because the Kingdom Tower will be 3,280 feet high.

The mastermind behind this giant is none other than Adrian Smith, who designed the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Smith currently holds the bragging rights to the tallest building in the world, and as if that wasn’t enough, he went on to break his own current record with the Kingdom Tower.

The Kingdom Tower, completed in 5 years, will break all records for its high altitude. Not to mention that this puppy is absolutely gorgeous with its futuristic design and its pointed tip. Its elegant design and its shiny silver color are a landmark of architectural beauty with a futuristic trend.

This new tower will house an area of 5.7 million square feet and will be used for various purposes, including offices, a luxury hotel, apartments and condos. In addition to defying gravity, this gigantic and magnificent eye-catcher has a high price of billion. Can we say Chaching?!

Personally, I am very happy that this new tower is being built. I never thought to say this because of my extreme fear of heights. Well, I think I’m going to have to admire it from the ground. This modern marvel sets the tone for the future of architecture and the 2000s that we all dreamed of, and all I have to say is, Saudi Arabia, you did good, son. You did well, but as a Chicago boy, the Sears Tower will always and forever be the tallest building in my heart.
